PoppersUnlimited50LCDTVNear the beginning of the 20th century, two new types of display monitors began to receive mainstream acclaim, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) and PDP (Plasma Display Technology) commonly referred to as just ‘Plasma’. These two technologies provide a high definition image on the monitor (whether it be a television, computer, or small device), but do so through different means. Plasma technology involves an inert mixture of noble gases held between two glass panels, through a complex process involving the gases being turned into plasma the monitor emits light and can display an image.  LCD technology involves tiny pixels arrayed in front of a light source, that then light up at various intensities to create the image.

In general, LCD technology produces a higher quality image, but LCD monitors are also much more expensive.  LCD technology is also much more common in small devices than Plasma technology.  You might find a 50 LCD TV, an LCD alarm clock, or a GPS device with an LCD display, while Plasma tends to be more restricted to televisions and computer monitors.

tvWhen it comes to a newer technology like LCD televisions, it’s important to recognize the manufacturers who produce the best products. In general, you will find that the Toshiba Regza LCD TV, along with the Sony and Samsung LCD TVs are the highest in quality. While there are numerous other companies that manufacture LCD televisions, these three tend to stand out above the rest. When purchasing an LCD television, you want to ensure that you get the right size for the right price. For example, if you’re looking to place the television on a wall in your living room, you probably want something a little larger. 46 inches is the standard size for family televisions. If you’re looking more for a personal television, something 16-20 inches might be more your style.

Where you purchase is also important, as this can save you a lot of money. Avoid the retail stores unless you see a huge bargain on a sale, and shop online where there’s more competition and thus better prices.

Tall, dark and mysterious are all traits of one roamer of the night.  As he lights up the screen with his whitened skin and dead like stare.  Why are woman so interested in this fictional creature of the night.  A monster of passion yet he kills to survive.

Would you be so courageous if he were real.  Would you rush home to see him if he were living in your house.  Drawn to him like a magnet.  The vampire has come to be one of the most appealing monsters of all time.Watching him on my new Toshiba 26 LCD HDTV makes him look so hideous yet so tall, dark and handsome.  Sort of like that bad boy image all woman fantasize about.  So many male actors  play him in all different ways .  They all bring a new version of the dark star to life.  Bela Lugosi, Frank Langella,Christopher Lee and John Carradine are all but a few of the most remembered actors that played the role of Dracula.  Enhanced on my Toshiba 26 LCD HDTV, the movies are so scary and Dracula seems to really come to “LIFE”.  Now at this particular moment in time the new age vampire can be seen in sunlight.  They tend to have human girlfriends. They are tame and do not kill for food.  True Blood,The Twilight Saga, Vampire Diaries, and of course don’t forget Buffy and Angel are all but a few.  But do they stand up to the older movies such as the Anne Rice’s vampire Lestat and The leader of the pack which is all the different versions of Dracula.

The sound quality of my Toshiba 26 LCD HDTV really sets the mood of these movies and the picture quality makes the movies come to life.  Well, I am so sorry but my new  Toshiba 26 LCD HDTV is also a dvd player, so I have to leave you so I can put in my new dvd of The Satanic Rites of Dracula.  I made popcorn and I shut out all the lights.  Dracula take me away!
